Let me tell you this! I replaced my Michelin RFT with Pirelli P7 Cinturato NON RFT. I dont even have the words to express what a difference it makes. Just a total transformation! Amazing! :joy: I did extensive research (internet) and found this tyre to be the most quiet and comfortable. Great grip too. And let me tell you, these tyres are all it is supposed to be and more. I bought 4 tyres for R1299 per tyre at Autoquip. (225/45/17).:thumbs:

i had that same feeling when i changed from Pirelli to Bridgestone. Tyres make a huge difference

In a lot of situations good quality rubber does enhance the experience significantly!



I also find the Pirelli`s to be a good in between tyre, doesn't break the bank and grip as well as road noise is quite acceptable.

Rather use your logic that falling back to a tired apples and oranges cliche.

If non-RFT > RFT and non-RFT A > RFT B you can't make the conclusion that brand A is better than brand B....to say this you need to compare RFT A with RFT B and non-RFT A with non-RFT B

....yet the topic is a comparison of brands and as such the comparison is not fair because the differing technologies ....if it was a comparison of technologies on the other hand, then you could compare RFT with non-RFT.
