Best route to knysna

Hi guys will be spending a few days in knysna for the holidays and was just wondering whats the best route from jhb. will be travelling with kids the youngest being a year and a half so would like to break up the trip and stay one night on the way.

Probably N1 via Bloem up to Beaufort West then Oudshoorn via Meiringspoort George - > Knysna.

Or you could try N12 via Kimberly to Beaufort West?

+1 the route through the garden:rollsmile: Haven't been on that road for a while, but last time I went it was awesome. Very scenic and just an all round awesome road to drive on.
