Hello peeps, I know this topic sounds weird, but I was wondering what is the best engine oil to use?
I have 2 cars: 1992 735I M30 engine & 1998 328I M52
I have 2 owners manuals, (1991 735I E32 with M30 non hydraulic engine) its oil chart stats that any engine oil that is 20W 50 will work best in our inviroment)
(1998 328I E36 with M52 hydraulic compensated engine) the owners manual stats that any engine oil the is 10W 40 will work best?
I have always used Castrol Magnatec 10W 40 in my 328I, but always have always have to wait for the oil pressure light to go out in the 1st start of the day.
BMW agents recommend using Castrol Proffesional that is sae 5W30. Isn't that going to be like adding water to the engine?
What engine oil do u recommend for the 735?
