Hi, I am a e36 fan and know the cars are old and decaying but I love them, my father has a e92 335i motorsport and e90 330i and I recently wrote off my e36 316i due to steering failure. But I still prefer a e36 idk why.
It is a e36 1996 318is motorsport for daytoday driving, not really interested in speed just want to enjoy the car.

Firstly interms of suspension, coils and dampers settings and LSD for normal day to day what should I do or put on right off the bat and where should I look for these parts in Cape Town?

Secondly brakes I know the e36 has crap OEM brakes so what do you recommend and where can I find?

Thirdly Im looking for silicone pipes since most of the rubber pipes are worn in the engine bay, and urathane bushing (all bushings) and engine mounts and front and rear brace frames or braces (i think thats what they called) where in CT can I find them?

Lastly alliminium fan shroud and fan blades and with any luck a mishimoto radiator or something similar and general thermostat and cooling upgrades?

Please if anyone knows where I can find these items and if you have suggestions please do the info the better.
Im basing my needs of a article I read link follows

Please any help would be much appreciated
Thank you.

I can't imagine why you would need an LSD on a 4cyl daily driver. I know a 318is is peppy, but really; it's hardly worth the cost and effort.

I would also stay away from poly engine and gearbox mounts on a daily. Again, it's a 318, now an m3. All you will do is add a ton of NVH with little to no tangible gain in performance.

I'm not sure if anyone locally supplies silicon hoses for BMW.. so you'll have to import most likely. Same goes for the mishimoto radiator. I would just go to Goldwagen or master parts and replace all the rubber pipes. Buy a behr radiator from silverton or any of the suppliers locally.

Oh I meant to add, speak to Moranor on this forum about your suspension requirements. He can supply everything you need, rubber or poly.
