Maybe that's why the newer turbo 4 pots are so fuel efficient - that tone is just not worth it, although VW seemed to have solved that problem with the GTI, but I'm digressing now .... :rollsmile:

Sometimes, occasionally, we like to think out of the box though and explore other avenues of conversation .... however even that statement relates to the topic, if you consider that an E30 is often referred to as a box and you're considering the box's replacement - hmmm, I lost my train of though now ....
Nah they are not that bad, I drive ours like a bat out of hell almost all the time when it is warmed up and it still returns very reasonable 16l/100km....
