Howdy all I thought it time to do some updates.
Where am I know with my baby:
-New Sound System
-DOD LS430W Dashcam
-4 New Tyres
-Black Grill
-Angel Eyes White. Gone are those amber ones.
-Smash And Grab Tint
-Bilstein Front Shocks
Now today I had my vehicle remapped by Mas Performance (http://www.masperformance.co.za/).
Total cost (and he came to me): R2800.00
I was so exited when he, Jaques, said he was done. What did he do. Here is the process:
-Download car file and send to the UK for remap.
-Wiped ECU
-We went and had a breakfast (which he paid for) while we waited for the updated file.
-Upload file to ECU
-Test Drive Time!
Total time 1 Hour 30 Minutes (give or take).
Now you would expect me to say WOW when I took it for a spin. I happily say I did not I was over the bloody moon. WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW!
An improvement was ABSOLUTELY noticed!
MY OBC said I had 560km to go on the current fuel left in the vehicle. I pushed her a bit and after done OBC said only 408km to go.
I paid Jaques his money and I did this gladly I might ad.
Then I left for Pretoria (+-70Km From me). I took it easy and I pushed her 140km/hour almost all the way. Hehehehehe I got here in PTA and the OBC read 469Km to go on the current tank. I laughed it was great to see this.
Passing a vehicle or vehicles is one hell of an improvement on what it was (and she was not bad to start off with). Acceleration is a dream.
I am IMPRESSED to say the leased.
So if you have ever wondered if you should. I reckon, in my opinion, you should.
