So this past weekend i was bored and decided to poke finger again (In the M)
Wanted a lil more Oomph from the sub for more Bass in your face but realized that i wasnt winning with the Stock sub so i pulled out the stock sub and replaced it with a Rockford Fosgate 10" P1 subwoofer running of a RF Punch 400RMS amp. (Had the sub and amp laying in the cupboard from my previous ride)
* Removal of the stock sub was simple, pulled of rear seats - Unbolted 4 bolts - unclip the Wire running directly to the sub and Wham - Bam - Thank you Ma'am
*Built a small box with Supa wood in place of the Stock sub - used sealer to seal all the gaps - cut off a piece leather to cover the face and mount the sub.
*Got a friend to laser cut the RF logo on a piece perspex to use as a Grill (i over tightened the top right screw and cracked the edge so will have to get another Logo Cut in the week)
*Added a small light hooked up to the Park light switch for a dramatic effect.
To go back to stock sub is quick and easy - No mess _ No Fuss
Some pics - Forgot to take pics of the Before and during process as i was in the zone - just wanted to get it done and im glad i did this small mod as it makes a huge difference Bass wise - Just what i wanted.
