Hey guys,
Recently replaced the back tires on my 328i and found that the previous owner had broken the holder unit on the back of one of the badges on the mags and simply siliconed the badge in place which looks really :nono:
So i went through to a dealership to buy a new one and the salesman brought me a badge and clip unit from a e9x. So after quite a bit of "discussion", the salesman realised that it was the wrong part and upon searching his system told me that the e36 part is no longer manufactured or kept in stock and that i would have to buy the e9x part, which would mean replacing all 4 badges due to the chrome surround on the e9x part compared to the grey plastic on my e36 part.
At this point i was unhappy but not complaining because of the fact that the chrome bits do indeed look nice. But then the price hit me like a sledge hammer! R643.96 for a set of 4 badges.:cursin:
Does anybody know where i could still find an e36 part or does anybody have 1 lying in the garage that they are willing to sell?
