Would you be able to send or post a little review of the differences you experienced after installing?

Excellent to see that the products continues to evolve. Well done Sean. I've been using it since 2015 till August 2017 and I can swear by it. Not only does it provide even wear on the breakpads, but I felt it allows them to bite quicker. The original rubber bushes are so flimsy that you can squeeze them between your fingers without any effort.

2 sets of pads changed in the 2 years I ran them, no a single pad had uneven wear.

Glws Sean.

Hi Sean, I see that one of the major improvements is the O Ring, Would it be possible to change the o ring on the V1 to the new beefy O Ring? Would you have these in stock as replacement parts? :ty:

V1 has no O-ring grooves so this would not be possible
would however offer discount for those who want to upgrade to the V2 :smilebounce:

Some pix and comments on the fitment of the AXIS Caliper Guide Bushings:

1. My front and rear brakes are completely stock except for the ER brake lines.

2. The installation of the Axis caliper guide bushings is easy for any novice to do BUT requires you to remove the caliper. To save you having to remove your calipers a 2nd time; this mod is best done when you change out your brake pads or discs or if you have more than 50% life on your pads/discs left; then do it. My front pads had very little left in them so I should have waited, but enthusiasts cant wait :smilebounce:

3. The Version 2 guides have O-rings on the inside and outside. The inside O-rings is a great idea and the sliding pins slotted in perfectly with a little grease. The outside O-rings did not work in my case. They kept on sliding out of their grooves even with liberal greasing and one of the outside O-rings cut & broke. I then removed all the (outside) O-rings and fitment was a breeze. The outside O-rings are meant to keep dust out and retain grease but since the guides are not "moving" parts, I don't see the use of the outside O-rings. So mine is fitted like version 1 bushings.

4. There is a definite improvement on brake feel and bite. :bravo:

5. Another good mod decision, pity I waited so long. :ty:

thanks for the writeup and feedback :smilebounce:

the outside Orings are there to ensure a completely tight fit into the calipers and not necessary for the bushes to function, but rather an improvement made for the 335i caliper that seems to have a slight variance in the caliper castings on hole size

we are receiving slightly tighter Orings early next week to address any fitment difficulties

anyone who had fitment issues on the Orings Please contact me directly we will send you new spec Orings free of charge
