These precision guide pins are a direct replacement for BMW part number 34111157038 found in ATE calipers and are a good upgrade for Track or street cars

Axis precision guide pins promote more even pad wear and consistent Brake feel by not letting the guide bush flex allowing your brakes to squeeze evenly similar to multi piston BBK kits

Thinking of getting these in the future

If I am using e46 330i calipers upfront and e36 calipers in the rear is there a kit available for this ?

all ATE BMW calipers use the same bushing and almost all BMWs come with ATE :)

These will fit both the front and rear of your car

They should...I would advise buying the entire set. Sean can double check the configuration for you.

I don’t understand how these make such a big difference or how much they will improve this over stock. Could someone ease elaborate?

Maybe I will add this onto my Christmas list with my other goodies planned once I figure out the true value of having these.

the OEM setup is a large rubber bush this allows the caliper to deflect and causes it to press unevenly on the pads this causes uneven padwear

what these guide bushes do is control the unwanted movement and only allows the caliper to press evenly on the pad :smilebounce:

here is an extreme example of uneven padwear caused by bad guides

Axis guide pins completely eliminate this issue
