This is the Install procedure for Axis Brake Guide Bushings. These promote more even pad wear and consistent Brake feel by not letting the guide bush flex allowing your brakes to squeeze evenly similar to multi piston BBK kits

Step 1 remove Caliper same as per Brake pad change plenty DIYs out there so best you find one for your car after that they pretty much all the same :)

tools needed for Axis guide bush install are:
Pliers
outside cir-clip pliers

Wire brush or sand the bore if there is any corrosion

Axis bushing goes in with the flange facing the Piston side of the caliper you can Grease this if you like but it is not needed with clean bores

Nice write up. Love the clarity of the pix. I mentioned this to a friend in this thread awhile ago...glad you came out with a kit.

Its definitely on my mod wishlist :clapper:

ugh I recognize that Caliper !!

Nicely done Sean - one suggestion include an extra cir-clip or two per set in case we loose one. Get this wrong and these things can fly miles, not to mention the way my garage "eats" sundries.

My EFT is en route.
