Automatic Wipers - keeping it on

Hi

This is my first post on the site.
I recently took ownership of a new 3.25, and have a question about the auto wipers.

I know how to activate it, but I was wondering if there is a way to get the setting "remembered" even after I switch off and remove the key.

My old car used to remember the setting, and while I dont mind activating it when I need it, its still nice not having to think about it.

With regards to the Auto Wipers, on the e90 you have to press the button on the stalk each time unfortuanately... The only setting which doesnt change after swithing off it the 'sensor sensitivity' which is adjusted with the rolling swith on the same stalk.

I agree with you that it would be nice to be truely 'auto activated'. I owned a Renault Megane 1.9 dci which was setup like that.

Wow, that is a stupid setup if you ask me... Maybe it can be coded to default to on?

Agreed, I am going to take it up with the dealership when I go get my plates.
Maybe they is a way to have the software default to this setting.

Settings that must be remembered when you remove the key (A/C, lights etc) must unfortunately (for the E90 owners) be done at the dealer. this will be coded to the key, so take both keys with. They should do this as a free of charge service since you just purchased one of their marquees and you have the right to a custom driving experience.
