The porsche setup doesn't work, for the end consumer ... They control the market. They give horrendous trade ins and if ever you complain you told to sell somewhere else... But they remind you, that you will lose the plan.... Now most Porsche second hand buyers don't care about the plan even on a car that is a few months old (all those 2014 Porsche turbo s you see at fouche motors don't have a motorplan) ... The warranty is still valid.... People don't care about forking a couple thousand for services... Second hand prices will be maintained and will be high definitely.... Its a win for the manufacturer but a lose for the consumer
If like me you chop and change cars often this is bad... But if one finances keeps the car for five years then you ok.... You most profitable if you play out the full five years of your finance agreement... Banks, car dealers like that And I think manufacturers want more of these type of buyers
