not a TLGP so didnt really know what section to put this in..
and i cant understand German so f##K knows what they saying but nice to see the figures.
i think the Mercs shit gearbox and poor quality interior as well as its high price contributed to it coming in 3rd place.
but my word it is fast in a straight line for a stock 2 litre turbo.

BMW takes the win, very please about that. of course i am massively biased.

interestingly these were the 221kw versions of the S3 and golf R not the 206kw versions that we have here.

I agree i could never live with the Mercs interior, Audi/BMW interior for me :thumbs:

And those A/CLA45's are seriously quick... but a lot of magazines say they are overrated due to price and like you said gearbox lets you down. The latest top car mag showcases 50 years of hot hatch for the class of 2014 Top 3 were

1. Golf 7R
2. Renault Megane
3. Bmw M135i

take that merc :=):

In of the reviews the M235i was faster around a track than the cla45 (A45) I can't remember raise:

Ya I remember that. It was on Auto express if memory serves me correctly.
I also read now that the M235i will be available in x-drive with rear wheel bias rather than front wheel bias like Haldex.
For euro conditions it's going to be boss, launch Control with the auto box is gonna be beastly!
