Hi guys, it was a pretty chilled Sunday evening, went out with my girl to gateway, and just before returning home for the night, I bumped into an old friend from campus. Little does he know, 10mins later I saw his car at umgeni road, and we both stood at the robots turning onto alpine road (Overport, Durban).
Now most fanatics know that road has numerous stationary traps even at midnight lol!
Anyhow we both took off apprehensively and then the R started flooring it , unleashing some terrible waste through his exhaust.
It appears that was enough to provoke me lol. I engaged sport mode , and at an instance felt the jerk in throttle response, the steering toughening up, and the active exhaust flap opening up to a sonorous roar.
I reeled him in at an instant but we approached a robot n stopped behind him as we both were turning left up on to Hendry road (massively steep)
Golf starts flooring it, and so did I. He could NOT even pull a 2metre gap up the entire road which winds up to prob 200-250m .
I sat there tapping the gas pedal and he couldn't do a single thing,
He turned off never knowing it was me in that car, and I'm damn sure he doesn't want to lol.
Anyway short story, Golf 6 R DSG , intakes, DP, full exhaust , diverter valve and software ( Stealth performance) , coil overs
Simply can't outrun a stock m135i 6mt.
Sure it wasn't safe hitting about 120 on a residential road lol but it was awesome fun at 12am.
