Auto Wipers???

Hi,

Silly question...how do you tell if you have auto wipers? I am just curios as I think I should have them but not sure if the sensor is on the blink.....

Anything that stands out?

Check by your rear view mirror fro the outside...
you should see the sensor in there. and remember it's not always on. You have to then put it on when in the car... well that's on the E90's obviously when you switch car off and on again you will have to put the auto wipers on again

My E46 has it, and Jakkals is correct. As soon as you switched off the car you need to put them on again if it rains, all I do is twist the speed control knob up and back down and then I am set. :thumb:

What car ? If its an E46 M3 then not sure, mine didnt have

If an E9x M3 then on the window wiper stalk there is a button on the end, if you push that button in you should see the green light go on and the wipers will move once. That is on.

It doesn't only apply to the M3. All of the E90s work in the same way.

Agreed, but the only E90 I have owned was the M3, so that was the base of my statement.

Mine has the sensor behind the rear view mirror but not sure where there button is or even if it came with rain sensors. Windscreen might have been changed...
