E46 330d RWD 185kw - 390nm (paid for I assume?)
1.4T petrol FWD. 91kw - 200nm (Financed?)

Nice looking car but I fail to understand why you sold your amazing 330d for this toy?

And you will never see 1000kms on a tank despite what the manual / sales rep / internet specs say, especially after what you had.

Well in honesty I am only 22... I sold the car as my dad offered me the opportunity to get a newer car. Next year I am on my own I graduate and start working so looking to go on my own. The main reason is 1 the car is still a newer model opposed to the e46 which is now 2generations behind ( no offense to the e46 guys) plus the car is fully paid and has motorplan till 2015. So the money I will be saving on car costs so to speak are mjnimal and in 4years time i can save alot to then purchase a new bmw by then. So I am thinking ahead. I drove the car for a day and consumption was spot on.

hello members
so as you all know I recently sold my e46 330d....

So it was time to move on, i have been searching for the best my budget can afford.. And I bought this..

My list had 2 main things

Consumption
And a car that will look modern for the next 4 years.

I searched for quite sometime and eventually settled for this

1.4T audi A3 2010
65000 km
Motorplan till 2015
Audi individual paint.
Tank range is +- 1000km

Biuld quality is excellent close to bmw.

But one day I will be back in a bmw!

I will still forever be a member on this forum!

^^ The important part.

Wait a sec. If Audi drivers can still remain members, it could cause a ripple affect.

It starts with dealing with hyperthetical questions like my friend has a audi and his starter is busted, how can i assist him to fix it, then we will have audi's in our convoys, then slowly some of the other members will start converting, they will then branch off and start the audifanatics club, bmwfanatics stickers will be stolen and the "bmw" parts removed and pasted on their cars, due to our suppliers lists being available he could use bmw parts on his car due to it being cheaper and starting a whole new hybrid car generation, etc, etc.

Think about it  Goodluck Buddy, just messing with you :=):

Congrats dude.

But the big question, so whats it like driving a 1.4 turbo compared to your 185 wkw and 582nm 3L turbo beast? Just curious??

Congrats man and well done on the new car. Good choice as well on planning ahead, but be careful BMWs are addictive.

nice car ... quite funny actually my brother had a e46 330d now he also recently got a Audi A3 2.0T. With software and decat it goes like a missle but he still misses his BMW, especially that cruise control was an option on the Audi but nonetheless good car, its German after all. Many happy miles with your new ride.
