I have always loved an M5, they are always the perfect blend between luxury and awesome power. I am especially excited for the release of the all new F90 M5.

BMW have confirmed an AWD system, however there is a variable configurations to play with based on combinations of the dynamic stability control modes (DSC on, M Dynamic Mode, DSC off) and M xDrive modes (4WD, 4WD Sport, 2WD).

No official performance outputs reported, but if this quote is anything to go by "BMW boasts that the new version of the performance sedan “completes the 0 to 100 km/h or 200 km/h sprints in the sort of times that leave its predecessor trailing in its wake”."

Wow, that seems like some ground breaking tech! I hope they have the ability to create synergy between the drive-train, gearbox and electronics controlling this, because it sounds very complex.

If they manage to do that, this will be groundbreaking!

This thing is going to be a monster. I am just very happy that BMW decided to go with x-drive on this,because traction would obviously have been a massive problem with this amount of power,the f10 already struggled massively off the line.
