Thanks to Divio for pointing out the thread and also securing the deal with the seller. I picked up a set of oem jcw front honeycomb grill.

Looks like so

Will clean them up and maybe paint them a little then fit soon.

Had no plans for Saturday so i decided to pamper the Mini a little, first time since we got it and it was well deserved.

Started off with removing the numberplate brackets and front numberplate backing trim. Was never a fan of the brackets, prefer to velcro the plate onto the bumper or boot lid.

While i was at it, i changed the front grills to the JCW ones i got. Unfortunately, the bottom grill did not fit, will have to get my panel shop to make holes as the clips on the grill dont line up with the bumper. Not a train smash...

Gave the car a good wash and wax thereafter. Still need t send it in for a detail but for now, the Adams Butter wax did the trick.

Sorry for the crappy pics:

Grill's removed:

After wash and wax:

TIA

Wanted to De-chrome the car, im not a fan of chrome. But, looked at the car and there is a lot of chrome. Not going to the extent of stripping the chrome beading and door handles, or the headlight surrounds. So, just the grills...
