Your car is coming along nicely Yaseen, sucks about the tensioner and belt but that will get sorted, atleast you didn't try to drive it when the incident happened. All the best with the repairs.

Pls. let me know where you get the new badges from, i need to also get some for my car. :=):

A huge thank you to Nikhil for sorting my car out during his busy schedule. I was in no rush as i am currently on leave and going out of town soon but Nikhil worked on the car when he got home from his day job to get my car on the road again.

The service was excellent, no fault at all. Even scored an engine wash.

Thank you Nikhil. Excellent work.

Nikhil replaced the Hydraulic Belt Tensioner, main and aircon belts. Car started and all was well. Until he noticed the aircon tensioner was also fault. Got the part and dropped it off with Nikhil on Thursday morning. Got a message at 5:30pm to say car is ready.

Thanks to Rob for transporting me from my home to Nikhils on Friday to collect the car.

Drove the car home, gave it a wash and wax and its back to doing its duties. Will give it a rest from Monday.

:ty:

Getting ready for the suspension refresh...

With help from Nikhil, i ordered some parts from OBDWorx. These parts will be replaced this week:

Tie Rod Ends

Control Arms

Cam Position Sensor - Nikhil identified this to be the culprit of the surging
Control Arm Bushes
Rear Trailing Arms Bushes

Oil Filter for service...

Still have to get oil...

In the process of all this, i found a stock E36 328i exhaust system. I will collect in the week and Xflow will decat and install.

As a cherry on the top for the exhaust, i got these from Outlaw335. Thanks bro!!

They will be cleaned soon as i get the exhaust.

Cant wait to fit all these parts, then fit the coil overs... Im going to hold on a little with the coilovers for now. Want the new suspensions bits and bobs to settle in nicely.

Do the end links while you are at it. They are cheap to replace.

Dewald... I need to make some time to come see you. Will call...

So, a while has gone by and the parts were sitting in the store room for way to long. Eventually got around to sorting out the suspension bits... got low in the process...

The guys at Supa Quick The Glen did an excellent job. Friendly and helpful staff.

While installing the parts, we hit a snag. The rear shock tower was torn. Managed to reinforce it to get me home. I will be sending the car to Italian Autobody on Monday to get this sorted. A huge thanks to Grant for his assistance after business hours.

Here's some pics after a wash.

And the struggle has started...

LOL - The people working on the car asked me if i spin it (after seeing the torn shock mount), my reply was "the engine can barely turn the wheels".

No, the tyre marks was there before i got there, and that the story im sticking with.
