Dear Fanatics,

It is with a very sad and heavy heart that BMWFanatics and the rest of the TheFanatics franchise of forums will be permanently terminated at exactly 23h59 today.

This decision comes after much deliberation between the forum admins and its shareholders. The costs relating to the upkeep of the forum, the salaries of the moderators and administrators, the server fees etc, make it very costly for the shareholders to maintain the running of the forum/s.

The general lack of interest and support in forum merchandise and at forum events leaves no profit to be used as an aid to fund the forum.

In closing, we truly wish we could continue, however at this stage it is not possible. We are truly thankful for the support we have had from our valued members/users, and wish you all the best in your years forward.

Guys, you have no idea what the financial strain is in maintaining the forum. We have been trying our utmost best to get it up there, but because of the all the other Fanatics sites - Honda, Audi, Merc, VW ect, the strain on the finances are just too much, thus this unfortunate turn of events...

Again... there is practically no profit made on the stickers, so yea.

Maybe if you guys can start paying a membership fee, then we can rescue the forum, :dunno:

Paid orders will still be honoured with delivery, but only if you pay for the postage

I believe the sticker merchant was the first to be let go and he's taking it pretty hard, so I can try and find out but he's not talking much right now :sorry:

I wish everyone of the best it was exciting being apart of this Forum ...
it is very sad that this day had to come even though i only registered not so long ago but i have always been following the forum for the past 2 years ...
For the guys i have met during car shows it was great meeting all of you guys hope we do have meet up's now and then to keep everyone united ...

PS: the membership fees would be an idea if everyone plays their part because i dont mind ... its the Family that important not the money ...
