Porsche's seem to be in a bit of a bubble at the moment though. Their prices are ridiculous.
If it were my cash, I'd hold back a bit.
If you think the prices will come down you are smoking your socks.

At least Porche hold their value. :coolShake:

I'm not saying they'll come down. I'm saying they've increased dramatically in the past year and a bit, and that increase hasn't really been substantiated. It's just been a crazy drive in demand.

What I'm saying is that demand will subside and prices will normalise.

Simplified example to illustrate my point (with made up numbers):
Demand surge:
2010: 911 going for R300K
2016: 911 going for R900K

No Demand surge
2016: 911 going for R900K
2020: 911 going for R950K

It's simple economics, demand and supply.

At the moment the demand for Porsche's is crazy high because of their fashionability trend.
That bubble (as all other bubbles do) will pop, and prices will normalise...

Unfortunately, economics goes further than sentimental value. Everything is touched by economics, and its laws hold true, even in the case of Porsche's.
