Hey i just imported a jb4 stage 2 for my n55. Did the install just as they said i should. For me it doesnt feel like its boosting above stock. There are no codes.

I have intake and downpipe on.

Is there maybe someone that I can come too and will be so kind as to help me ? Im retarted when it comes to cars.
I just know how to drive and I wanna go fast.

read the manual - That thing is a plug and play there are different settings ........Did you adjust it when you put it the vehicle. Go onto youtube and watch the vids for the JB4 its quite informative ........

Hope that helps

Howst Bud! What map are you running it on at the moment. You might be on stock bypass which is map 0

Map 2 seems to be your best bet ,try this and let us know your outcome.
14psi (suggested for those with a downpipe and 93 octane. May also require octane booster on top of 93 octane for optimal performance.

Give the car a bit of time to adjust bud, nothing to worry about. And btw keep it on map 5 no matter what. Its an auto tuning map so it will adjust boost according to the mods on your car, octane, etc etc..

i heard from others that the jb4 doesnt boost much at altitude due to various reasons (fuel, altitude) when left on auto. chat to twinz he is the one to answer your questions on this. you might also want to email terry at bms.

Hey bud
You will def feel the difference. With your set-up and (93 us octane) which is 98 + SA octane, map 2 will give you a serious shuv in the back. Even map 1 with proper fuel will be vary noticeable.

Everything you need to know is here:

JB4 N55 Stage 2 info

I know with the Procede, autotuning used to suck at altitude! Some logs of boost and timing will quickly tell u whats up? I remember I discovered I wasn't boosting much over stock with autotuning activated, now with the aggresive maps (which dont have autotuning) and meths I'm over 18psi.

Meths is a must at altitude if u want to run a piggy at high boost levels:thumbs:

from what i have read and from friends up in jhb it doesnt matter how long you leave it its not going to boost much more than you getting now. take the advice from baracus.

When I installed mine the car didn't boost as much as I expected it to initially..At the time I had dp's and an intake like you. It took a couple of days but it came around.

I have to agree, map 5 here is very very conservative. The reason I told you to keep it on map 5 is for the car to adapt to the new found power, just for a while. Once the car has adapted, map 2 with octane and you'll be smiling..

Meth is a must like baracus said. Mine should be arriving end of the week, can't wait :joy:

Btw I don't think just any USB cable will work,I stand to be corrected..

Stage 2 N55 does not have a map 5 as far as I know, only N54 does.
"Map 5: Not developed for N55 yet" so you are basically running stock.
For map 7 you need at least 105 octain in the tank so unless you are running 1 bottle of ultra in 20 - 30 litres of fuel I would not recommend it.

I suggest you leave it on map1-2 and let it do its thing. You can show the boost on your fuel gauge then you know if it is hitting the targets.
Speedo:2 Tack/Rev:1 then just press down on the volume to save the setting, this will enable the fuel gauge hijack and set it to Boost.
Then do Speedo:5 Tack/Rev:6 and press down again on the volume to save, this will only make the gauge hijack take effect when the pedal is 50% pressed in.
So you can see your fuel when you drive and the boost when you go flat out.

hope you come right.

You should def feel a difference.

I have a BMS USB cable I can loan to you. A normal USB doesn't work.

Do some logs and send to Terry, he'll help you out.

Don't run map 7 unless you have proper high octane gass. Reason being is that map 7 runs to about 16.5psi and the octane helps to keep the high boost. You could stuff things up should u run inferior gas.

Get a cable and check your pre boost when u log that will tell u exactly if u have a leak.

If u need help on how to log drop me a pm and I will guide u through it
