Anybody close to SA Motor Corporation in Randburg?

Morning guys

My dad is on the point of signing at Offer to purchase at SA Motor Corporation in Randburg.

As we are in the Western Cape, the guys told us that they will meet us halfway, at Colesberg.

Is there perhaps any fanatic staying or working close by, to just go and have a look, and just confirm to me the condition the car are in, condition of the tyres etc?

Its a 2013 F30 320d with 36 000km, mineral white, Luxury line.

It would be much appreciated

Damm, really? Everything sounds so good, they give us a good trade in price on the Merc ML, (actually the best trade price in the whole country) and they sound quite proffesional?
I am waiting on the Motorplan report on the F30, if everything looks clear and good, what can go wrong?

I can try and pop past there for you. I did however almost purchase a car from them a while back... I've since seen that very car come back up for sale at least twice which makes me think I avoided something nasty

Read somewhere about plenty horror stories popping up on hellopeter, and that they were found to be countering the horror stories with praise stories written by themselves or something.

Why write praise stories about yourself if you have nothing to hide?

I'm close to this place and dont mind checking it out for you but its a really dodgy dealership and i dont advise buying even a cup of coffee from them.

Thanks, I would also not buy a older car from so far without seeing it, but I thought okay, the car has 36 000km, about 20 months old, and if the Motorplan report is clean from BMW, what can be wrong, maybe Im just too excited now haha

We've been on Gumtree, Autotrader, Carfind for the last month, trying to trade in the 2011 Merc ML350cdi, and buying a nice specced F30, and this seem to be the best deal, I like the look of the Luxury Line, the chrome inserts, the wheels

Look yeah, if the car is on MP then you have that element of backup. Perhaps send the vin off to Coisman on the forum as well just to make sure all is clean on Natis as well :thumbs:

Thanks for the advise, we dont want to buy it, and afterwards everybody say "I told you so" haha.

It will be much appreciated if somebody can go and have a look, the salesman I worked with is Immaneul, and the Sales manager is a guy called Jacques.

If someone will just confirm to me the car is perhaps dodgy, then I will walk away today still:ty:

The car might be perfect, but the dealer itself definitely does not have the best reputation for service or quality.

I think there was a discussion on this forum about it?

As mentioned, the dealer may be dodgy and the car may be fine.

My opinion, if all is clear on MP and it still has warranty etc, why not if it looks clean.

I called JSN motors, the car was bought there, and according to them the car is clean, no comments, and it was really one woman owner since new (like the ad says haha). Woman owner isnt a good thing for me, if I look how my mom and wife drives:roflol:

Or anybody perhaps know of a smimlar specced one for sale, that will trade in our 2011 ML350CDi Merc at a decent price?

Just some feedback I bought my Honda accord from them and had excellent service car is still running very well after 2 years of ownership. Like any place you will always get upset clients posting. This is just my personal experience

Received quality service and car ran fine for 3 years and 60,000km later, so no complains my side.
However a lot could’ve changed in 6 years.
