Hi guys,
As the title says... any Volvo guys out there?? my dads been using the V40 (1999 - 2.0ltre) for a while now and call me last night as the car is very sluggish and started smoking a lot. when chatting to him about the car I suspected head gasket... And on my inspection earlier this morning this is what I saw
Its clearly evident that there's water mixed with the oil - gasket failure. What I'd like to know is should I attempt to DIY or book it into a workshop - any estimate's as well?
