Baby seat in the front maybe? All I can think of.

The Seat Occupancy Sensor is a common problem on the e46 and it illuminates the airbag warning light on the dash.

There is a way to bypass the system by making use of these kits.

Thats what they are for

You cannot put a baby seat in the front with this as the airbag will go off in the event of an accident.

it is needed if you change to a racing seat and dont want the the light on your dash and want your airbags to work
