At what point to your reach the knock threshold?
Surely there is a point where power output per liter on pump 95 is reached?
And that must be similar on any modern engine, a result of the properties of the fuel?
That sir, is a very good question. It's hard to answer as it depends on a lot of factors. But the Tsi is very good engine with very good knock control. It pulls timing reactively very quickly on a per-cylinder basis before any knock occurs.
Your air fuel ratio's requested in the map can also influence that threshold & make it safer if done right. The absolute amount of timing & enforcing a global timing threshold also have bearing.
Many more factors, but 260kw is not near the limit. There are safe tunes running 300kw overseas.

Just questions I have from seeing that OPC run 412hp on what I was told "Pump fuel only"
Just to find out later he had OB and meth.
Keep up the good work!

Yeah I think they meant he was running pump fuel in his tank as opposed to racefuel. And water meth still makes it pump fuel. They should have said pump with with some octane enhancements.

Let me confirm that these numbers ARE possible indeed
I've done such conversions before

Hi Rolf, I can confirm it don't worry I got it covered. We made it on 2 different dynos with 2 different cars in the same week. So yeah it's possible because it just physically happened.
But yeah you can go ahead and check with the FBI if you want. If the FBI comes back that it's not possible then I don't know what we are going to do. We might as well all go home then.
