Actually folks, the 550 manual is not as rare as you may think, there are a few of them going around.

Regardless of that, dude that thing is down right frikken awesome, and on my shopping list as well sometime soon.

I agree with zal. It is much easier to get an e60 550iM than an e39 540iM, and the 550iM is usually much cheaper than the auto equivalent (which i think is a good thing). But yes, it is an awesome car!

Okay, didn't realise they are more easy to find - I know that the E39 540iM are scarce! So then it's as if the E60 550iM is a bit "under-rated" by the general public - good for those of us (fanatics) who know better!! :thumbsup:

If my memory serves correctly.. the E60 550iM was tested 0-100 at coast at 5.5seconds flat which is easily e46 M3 speed in a car which can seat 5 with full luggage and comfort.. A brilliant car!! have fun...
