Hi everyone, as the title says im new here. I dont own a BMW at the moment but my plan is to get a nice e36 325i or 328i not too long from now. I work for BMW Zambesi Auto and of coarse i would like to represent :tiptoe:

Currently i have a 2008 Corsa OPC that i'v owned for just over 5 years now. I wont sell it because the car is worth more to me than what people want to give me for it. So a clean e36 will sit nicely alongside the OPC. The biggest reason for me going for the bigger straight six cars is because i like boost, and a boosted straight 6 is exactly what i need.

I hope to gain as much valuable info from everyone here, and perhaps buy a car from someone here one day.

Rather go for a 135i or a 335i if you want a turbo 6cyl.. much easier then modding a n.a. 6cyl ....

Welcome and good luck...

Thanks bud, appreciate it. Plan is to build the motor with lower compression anyway. And im such a fan of the e36 shape

Welcome man.

A boosted 6-cylinder E36 will no doubt be a big project, but will be amazing if done correctly.

If I had the resources, patience and knowledge I’d probably do the same.

All the best!

One of my dream projects to do one day is to buy an e36 m3 and turbo it with SavSpeed...

Went in one many years ago with Sav, it was a 4 door non race spec.. so sav had it a relaxed 350wkw...

Thing is he does it properly... brakes, suspension, clutch, so the car felt super fast but very stable almost standard like as it was low boost.. it drove normally under 4000rpm.. but when he put foot! WOW! WAS AMAZING!

Yeah look iv had a look at parts and they not cheap. Wont be a matter of buy it all at once. But im planning the same with this corsa of mine. Already calculated that the planned build would cost close to 150k if not more. And the bmw will most likely cost even more to do. So its definitely a long term project lol.
