Another burnt out E90 diesel!!

Just saw this on the E90 forum: E90 smokin hot!!

Yeah thanks fine, I was with the mrs and kids we stopped for a couple of minutes at ghe shop and when it started up, it started smoking through the heater, I looked under the hood and saw little flames right under the engine but it soon took hold, by the time I'd got everyone out they were a foot high.
Sad face!

Could have been a result of bad mechanic work. I still can't believe how many things are loose around my 540's engine like cables and wiring. Some of it I was able to refit properly, but others not. It's often the little things that get you.

Just imagine the insurance fiasco as a result of that!
Even more so if a private Mech touched that....
