A few days ago i bought over a project car that has taken years to complete and plan to rectify that.
So i would like to share this with you guys!!
The details:
Car: 2007 Renault Megane F1
The objective: 450whp FWD track monster
mods:
Garret GTX3076r, 0.82 AR
Custom tubilar manifold (will be built by KontrolFreakz)
Precision 42mm wastegate
Bosch 044 fuel pump with 2l surge tank and 8mm braided fuel hoses
Bosch 850cc injectors
CatCams 402 race cams
CatCams valve spring set (can rev to 8200rpm but tuning will be set to 7200rpm for safety until the car is happily tuned)
Strengthened inlet and exhaust valves
Wossner Forged pistons
Engine Dynamics conrods
ACL big end bearings
King Racing XP series crankshaft main bearings
Helix flywheel, pressure plate, clutch and release bearing
Oil catch can
K&N 100mm cone filter with custom made induction tubing
Powerflow 76mm exhaust and dp, 1 rear silencer
D2 32 way adjustable coilovers with camber plates
The build should be capable of around 400-450whp. This is being built on a specced car done by RStuning in the UK which achieved 485whp on 1.75bar tune.

The update thus far:
1. Ordered the new crankshaft main bearings.
2. Germano from RST has a new cylinder head to work with (old one got damaged by detonation. wrong compression pistons were used #FML)
3. New fuel rail and exhaust manifold will be built by KF (or possibly another contact)
Once the above has been sorted and completed the motor can be assembled and put back and tuning can start. Aiming to be done by end September
Other things i am also looking into is doing a WMI kit, as the car will be mapped for 98oct iirc. Running NF ultra is going to become expensive so going to need to look at other options. (WMI with a bigger tank or OB1) and ofcourse a BBK... Vari is looking like a good option.
