Angel eyes

Good day all

I have a 1999 E39 528i, and would like to upgrade the headlights to angel eyes. Does anyone Know where is the best place to purchase these in KZN and are there any modifications that I need to make to fit them? I also have the old tape deck radio in it and would like to upgrade that to. Does any one have any sugestions?

Onto your headlights, if I where you I'd try and source the E39 face-lift headlights (2002 and up, but I stand under correction). These come stock with angel eyes, but are halogens.

Rather spend a bit more and get decent quality stuff than cheap glue on Chinese crap. Maybe you can consider upgrading to a Xenon kit?

I am considering getting them, and would like to know if anyone has any experience with them?

Also want to put in an HID Xeneo kit.

Welcome to the forum Bud. Autostyle is ok. Thers MaxMotorsport and Racersedge. Try all before picking your set. As for the DIY you need basic tools and skills. Should be fine.

Search for OEM facelift lights, and add a Xenon kit. :thumbs:

The aftermarket lights are more of a downgrade than anything else.

Don't just don't, rather wait till you can find a set of f/l headlight + HID kit or refurb you current headlight maybe? and then fit an HID kit and a set of rings.
