HI Ratslaaf

Congrats on the purchase. Tell me what did you do about the warranty and maintenance etc ?

I am sure you will be able to do a lot of the maintenance yourself, and then there is always those nifty maintenance packages insurance companies offer these days for cars out of MP. You can do even better, you find out what most insurance companies charge you for a MP and set up your own MP by putting the same amount away that you were going to pay them every month into an investment plan such as Satrix.

^^^ Oh boy.

Snap poll: E92 stock rims or CSL reps? Rims on my car isn't the greatest cosmetically so I'm considering either a refurb or a change.

And it looks like a new back bumper is on the way, woohoo!!

I wouldn't go CSL although they look kickass. Too many cars have them these days. Look at a nice pair of vossens.

You sure as hell don't waste time huh.. You wanted it and the next minute, you got it :clapper: Good on you for making the right choice

I am a huge fan of the competition wheels, I'll just leave this here then...

Yes, yes, so am I :) That style looks great on my E90 so figure a more true rep would be great on the E92 as well.

Vossens; I'm worried that that's too much of a departure from the stock look - I'm funny that way.

Geesh, ek kan nou nie onthou nie. Ek dink 265/30/19 en 235/35/19. Maar nie 100% seker nie. Tyres is cheap'ish (die Toyo's) maar wil koop en een keer koop op die mags.

Should be 265/35/19 rear and 245/35/19 front

Congratulations on the purchase.

And well done on going for a real gearbox:coolShake:

Still looking at rims, even got the wife involved. So, I'm looking for a set of M6 rims, as in the pic below. Any ideas? Must be 19's though
