Alpina DS5: The fastest diesel in the world.

Alpina has introduced the all new Alpina D5 S at the 2017 Frankfurt IAA. They claim it to be the fastest series production diesel on the market, with its 3.0L inline 6 cylinder engine featuring three turbos and common rail high-pressure direct injection, producing 382hp (388PS) and 800Nm (590lb-ft) of peak torque available between 1750 and 2650 rpm.

Together with the upgraded 8 speed automatic transmission powering all four wheels, the Alpina D5 S accelerates from 0 to 62mph (100km/h) in 4.4 seconds and 0-124mph in 17 seconds. Top speed is 178mph (286km/h).

There never was any doubt...., :biglol: no alpinas came here for years.

BMW chooses to limit the market and focus more on specific buyers anyway resulting in many factory models not coming here.

I know... I wished they changed that though... look at how many 50d's u see on the road... the market for performance diesels is there. The 2series van/tourer whatever that was is now gone... only fair that we get something in return :rollsmile:
