All front vents blowing heat when aircon is on

Hi all,

Quick question, on my '91 E34 535i i have a small problem, when my aircon is on all the front airvents is blowing warm air but at the back the vents is blowing cool air. How do I go about fixing this or is it best sending the car to a shop?

Also would like to know where I can get a bit of history on the '91 E34 535i as the steering wheel has a M on but next to the 535i on the boot there is nothing? Would like to keep the car original.

i had a similar issue with my 318i have refrigerant in the air con checked could be low , mine had the same symptoms , had the aircon regassed , all is sorted .

Could also be your stepper motor(s)
