Car: 2003 E46 330D Steptronic...
Problem: Aircon blows warm and slightly cold air into cabin...
Monday:
I took the car to a mechanic, who took it to some aircon guys... Report comes back that the compressor is kaput..
Tuesday:
R8.3k for replacement. So I tell the mechanic to lodge a claim with SA Warranties who approved the full value of the replacement.
Wednesday:
Compressor gets changed, only to be told that I have to change some dryer unit / canister thingy as well.... Ok, Go ahead. Change it and still not cold air into cabin...
Thursday:
Next I get told that there is some air mixer valve thingy that needs to be changed as well....
Friday:
Car is there now.
I hope to get this thing sorted cos i am leaving for durban at 13:00 and i dont want to be sweating on the road.
