Advise--Z3 USB install

Hi Guys
A friend of mine has purchased a 2001 Z3 roadster, which has the professional headunit with a 6cd changer, is there any way to install a usb port onto this headunit, even if it means getting rid of the cd changer?

Google : DICE iPod integration for BMW and have a look.
I know it's iPod and not USB but it's about the best you can do.

It does replace the CD Changer. I also have one for sale if you want. Took it out of my X5.(PM me if interested)

Also look at GROM. They got systems for most BMWs

They have aux, usb, bluetooth and a unit with all three in one. Their units replace the 6 cd changer in the boot and is plug and play

I just bought GROM unit... only to discover that the is no BUS cable in the Z3. Business headunit an I suspect an Alpine changer with BMW markings.

The Grom I bought for the M5 went in seamlessly.
