Advise needed , Carbon Spoiler to be sprayed?

Hi Guys

In a bit of a dilemma and seek advise

I have a white car and have recently purchased a few carbon fiber spoilers.

Is it possible to have the carbon fiber spoilers sprayed into piano black without damaging them etc I prefer the piano black look as opposed to the carbon fiber look

Has anyone attempted this before

Any advise appreciated

That way you can always just remove it if you don't like it.

Hey Man, I've had all carbon fiber parts sprayed gloss black. I came out awesome. Just find a good body shop to hook it up for you.

How long is the paint holding onto the spoilers?

paint should hold on fine as long as the prep work was done correctly .. would need a light sanding down with primer applied ...

have u considered maybe checking if anyone with plastic parts that may want carbon ones? u could swop them if they are painted in the colour u want them ... just an option ...

try PlastiDip with Glossifier first, Arbee had many of his CF bits done in Gloss Black and came out sexy as hell!

What's the point of buying things like this in carbon fibre and not plastic. You're paying 3 to 4 times the price and then covering it with paint... then if you ever decide you want to sell the parts, no many people would pay the CF price since its been sprayed and they can get new plastic pieces for significantly less.

Cannot get plastic type spoilers for M135i. Had to settle for the CF ones.
