Hi Guys,

I am interested to know if 19inch rims measuring Front 8.5X19 ET33 Rear 9X19 ET44 will they fit a 2011 E90 330d, and what exact tyre sizes go front and rear.

And the BIG question will this not marr the mighty motorplan rules??
:ty:

are the rims capable of accomodating a RFT tyre ?
if so, are you going to get RFT's ?

if the answer on both is NO, then the jury is still out on the final verdict w.r.t. MP

some dealers, especially if you have a good relationship with the dealer principle, won't mind
generally though, any modification to the suspension and drive train, to anything other than BMW approved modifications, will void that portion of your Motorplan
Most of the times the remainder of you MP will still be valid, except anything that can be proven to have had a negative effect

Hi Ralph,

Will have to find out if they accomadate runflats, they are genuine BMW rims not reps, and yes will have to go run flats as the car has no spare, my concern is will the sizes I have given fit the E90????

Just so you aware

Style 313 front ET 37 8J back ET 39 9J
Style 225 front ET 37 8J back ET 39 9J

ET 44 for the rear will need spacers
ET 33 should be okay but will sit further out compared to the above.

As for tyres

235/35/19 front or 225/35/19 will work
265/30/19 rear or 255/30/35/19 will work

I had normal tires on both my e90's under plan. both went for services, including the pulley replacement on the 320d, at Club Motors Fountains and SMG in Cape town.

Never had any issues with the dealerships. Was told just to clear it with my insurance.

Thanks guys but still have not really been answered, who are the tyre guru's amongst us fanatics?

This should not be rocket science surely, I will need runflats and the rims are not reps but genuine BMW so surely they must fit using the correct tyre, will not venture to using spacers :thumbdo:

Many thanks..........

just remember, a RFT rim is required, not a normal rim
A rim for RFT tyres has an extra lip on the inside into which the beading of the tyre fits, so it is not a simple case of fitting an RFT tyre onto a normal rim (even if it is a BMW oem)

what style code wheel is it?
BMW wheels are usually 8j front.
You could use spacers at the rear but they're not necessary, as your wheel will be further from the fender by just 5mm.
The front will stick out by 7mm further.

This is assuming you have the stock 19" 8j et37 & 9j et39
