Hi guys, need some advice.
2006 320i Auto, 80000 kilometers on the clock for R150k, car has been pampered. Worth buying?

Seen a few E90 330i's at around R170k - R200k with similar mileage, so the 320i sounds expensive.

velociti will pass you by for less than half the price too... there is nothing fanatical about the 320i....

Rather get an e46 330i if you cannot stretch the budget to get some more pistons in an e90...

Thanks for the response guys.
The car is actually for a friend of mine. He`s moving up from a Citroen C2 and not a speed demon....( like some people :mmm: ). A bit worried about the auto box though. Will try and advise him about the six potters, but blistering performance is not a priority for him.

HA HA HA! I know, but shhhhhh.....we gotta reel them in bit by bit...

Anyway, i`d rather lose in a Beemer than drive a Golf (again)

He could probably get a 2006 323i for that amount of money.

Theres nothing wrong with the auto boxes on the e90's.

He could go the other route and buy a diesel. The 320d will be much lighter than the 320i and will still be a fair bit faster.

Some people dont like the sound of diesels, but i dont think that it would be a problem on a car as nice and new as the e90.

He could also go the route of looking for an e60 5 series. There are a few good ones floating out there in that price range.
