Advice for a potential new owner

hi bud, im driving a 2006 330d and its awesome! i service my car at automate and it costs me around R1800 - R2200 which is very reasonable. you will not get bored in a car like this, power on tap as and when you need it, and plenty of it! very good, comfortable family car with plenty of space. economy is brilliant, i get an average of 7.5 - 8.2l/100km in town and 5.2 - 6.2l/100km on the highway! if you are after more power then a few tweaks that cost around R6k will give you a lot more torque. im on 571nm on the wheels and she runs superb!

Merry Xmas and all that to those that celebrate.

So as you can see this thread was started some time back when I was looking at a 330D and by the sounds of it the one that I test drove must have been completely stuffed.....

On Christmas day I pulled into the in law's and spotted a 330d parked in the drive way, same colour and year as the one I test drove earlier in this thread.

Managed to convince the owner for a test spin to compare apples with apples (the one I previously test drove and another 330d).

Holy smokes, his 330d pulled like a mother!
Now Im pissed that I did not go and test drive others and buy one....
