Advice - 2012 bmw 3 series 320i a/t (f30)

Hi Guys

I'm planning to get my younger brother a second hand BMW 3 series 320i a/t (f30) 2012 model it has 78000km. It has an all new 2.0 litre turbo four- cylinder engine with 135kW and 320NM on tap...

Is this a good buy im worried about buying the car with the turbo please advise.

Stay away from the 320i , probably the worst engine that BMW has ever made.

Rather search for a 320d

So you mention it has the new engine.. 135kw but it is a 2012.. That should tell you all you need to know about the N20..
Buy the N47 is what I say too... My 2c..

Depending on what your brother needs, a 320i may not be the best choice. How old is he? What mileage will he do annually? What is your budget for maintenance costs per year and insurance per month?

All new 2012 motor? :fencelook:

Stay away from N20. It has been replaced with, what's supposedly, the better motor in the 20i.

A very short-lived motor in terms of production - for obvious reasons
