Hi Guys,
Newbie here from jhb, I am purchasing a 2006 320D Auto(Sports pack) 87000km's next month, 17Nov to be exact. The vehicle was bought brand new by my father in law, so we are buying it from him. Because they are situated on a farm in Tongaat(Durban), they have other diesel vehicles for the farm use, and he uses 500ppm in the 320D, also the roads to their place is bumpy and gravel.
My question is, should he take the vehicle to BMW as it is still under mp, and get them to do the checks so they wont have any issue when transfering the mp to me. Saves me the hassle to rush and do the transfer of ownership, licensing and change of motorplan all on same day.
2nd question, because he uses 500ppm, and when i get it, i will use 50ppm, should i be concerned about anything ?
Also, any other technical details I need to worry about would be highly appreciated
I have driven the vehicle alot, and I love it. I will be a first time BMW owner as well
Thanks
