I dont dispute that at all. But the ride quality, handling, and pricing of tyres are better on the 18s. It was a functional/practical decision.

Also, to add, if I am going to put up with the compromises associated with the 19s, I'd rather them be the CSL style wheel.

For now though, I really like the 18s.

true that....imo the oem csl wheels are thee ultimate rim for the e46 M3
