I am super excited and have been waiting a while for this, but finally on Monday I will be getting the ACS chip put into my M135i.

I am looking forward to seeing the gains I will be getting :thumbs:

I will keep you all posted on how it goes!

Congrats. Expensive but MP friendly so more power and peace of mind.
Keep us updated on the gains please?
Dyno before and after?

I have not put the car on a dyno, cause someone told me that the readings you get from a dyno are not always accurate due to different conditions. So one day can vary compared to another. So I decided to leave it.
I will just see how it feels when I drive it afterwards and wouldn't mind going to a drag event and seeing the times on a quarter mile, compared with a stock M135i.

@freerider... Ya I am not sure what I put in my coffee that morning, but it obviously impaired my judgement :fence look:

Will keep you posted on how it goes once I have driven the car

Reputable dyno always a good place 2 start ..
bmw rip me off with my power kit -
s/w was not properly loaded & dyno verified this ..

1/4m times depend on driver skills ..

I gave advice to guys installing the PPK kit in previous thread. You have to make sure they load the injector numbers on the diagnostic computer otherwise there will be no gain.
With the ACS is just unplugging and plugging in 4 connectors so the techs really cannot make a hash of it.

How expensive is this kit, what would be the expected gains?

The kit is on the expensive side! Its about R38k
The benefit is that you keep your warranty and motor plan for the BMW.

The gains are:

Standard Car=
235kw
320 horsepower
450 Nm

AC Schnitzer car
265kw
360 horse power
520 Nm

The price is not bad if the car is new, and you still have alot of time, unlike me I have until the end of this year for MP

Hi Guys

So I have now officially had the ACS chip installed as of yesterday:rollsmile:

And what a difference!! The power delivery is just insane!
The throttle response is improved, the car feels very smooth all the way though the revs and it even makes a difference to the sound of the car.

One thing is that it is definitely clear, is that it is harder to keep traction off the line. So at this rate my tyres are not going to last as long as they should.
:fence look:

There is apparently a bed in period of around 300km, where it will adapt to my style of driving. So will see how things feel after a week or so
