A/C Evaporator Change

Hi! My A/C is not cooling. I have a diagnostic from an a/c shop and I wanted to see if somebody can go over some questions with me please!
1- I recharged the system a couple times and I would lose the Freon in about 72 hrs, the last time we did it we added the dye and we found the leak to be on the right side coming thru the a/c drain so the leak is internal. Based on this he said it was my evaporator. Does this make sence?
2- I notice warm air coming from the windshield defrost ducts when I used the defrosting system in a raining day is this part of the A/C evaporator problem?
3 - Do I need to remove the engine block drain coolant plug as part of the initial work to replace the a/c evaporator or just the radiator coolant drainage?
Note: I find a YouTube video and I Saw a guy replace the evaporator with touching anything else but the dashboard.

I am not to sure about things conserning the A/C, but I am sure that nr 2 that you mentioned is not a problem, I think the car is supposed to do that.
