Hi guys, can any of you perhaps answer a Question or two on these big-boyz...???

# how bad are they on fuel?

# are they problematic?

# would you buy one for evryday driving?

Well.. I would go for the 740, simply because the M62 motors are incredible..

If you find a clean example, it may outlast a modern motor vehicle, but it all depends on what you buy..

Bad -a lot of weight to carry around every time you accelerate - ok cruising
No - The motor is ok , the auto box and electrics can get gremlins .
No - as a 10 to 15 year old the daily grind of 50 or so km a day will take its toll .Spares expensive .

Ray, I dont know if I entirely agree with you.

In relation to it being a 4.4L V8 in case of the 740, the fuel consumption is actually not bad, those motors are very efficient, keeping in mind its a 4.4l v8 of course.

Where I do agree with you is that spares are expensive, and unless taken care of, these cars could be an endless money pit.... but if you find a clean example...
