7 Series Bakkie (Pics inside)

Maybe the car was damaged in an accident and it made sense to resurrect it as a bakkie, rather than scrapping it. Even if not, it is the man's property and he can modify it as he pleases.

It looks like a very decent job from where I am sitting. :coolShake:

The dude bought a new G11 7'er and got offered peanuts for the F01. He decided screw it, he always wanted a luxury bakkie so converted the F01. As far as I'm aware it wasn't in an accident prior.

I would like to see bmw do a better job than this..... by no means is this degrading, there's plenty of hack jobs out there, this isn't one of hem . If anything, it will show others how it should be done including bmw.

It might have worked as a bakkie , but due to it having that stupid strips (who in their right mind will put strips like that, looks stupid) and that M badge (what exactly did he try to achieve with this stupidity of plastering an aftermarket M badge on it) it fails bigtime. All that hard work and you go and destroy it's looks with your EGO for an M car :hammerhead:

So many judgements flying around yoh, c'mon guys give credit where it's due.......who cares about some m stripe stickers or m badges, this is a ute that you don't see often or if at all, he payed for the car and payed for it to be built like that, at the end of the day there is absolutely nothing you can do about the M stripes and M badges. I think its unique and really awesome........with m stripe stickers and badges and all.

Apparently he added the m strips, because if you inspected it closely in person, you could the line where the join is.

That being said, amazing feat, amazing build, that most who b$@#* and moan about strips and badges wouldn't even have the gonads to attempt.

Focus on the good, not just the bad. 😀

The only gripe I have with this build is the way the rear section window meets the door window. It looks a bit incomplete. Either carry the chrome through or black it all out or something.

Other than that, looks decent enough. Most luxurious bakkie in the world.
