Lol. I have DPs and stage 2 on my diesels. The biggest giveaway is the turbo spools. It's very loud! You cannot stand next to the car while idling. The fumes will dead you.
Unless it's a mild stage 1 with the DP still in place. Highly unlikely. People generally go straight stage 2 with DP. It's not a bad thing TBH. I'd buy a well maintained diesel that has a stage 2 tune as I know then that the EGR and all that stuff is coded out. Also the turbos will be running cooler etc... Lots of benefits to stage 2 tunes...

1st and 2nd, has too much spin. 3rd onwards it hooks and pulls hard. I don't really feel it much faster than the F30 tbh. Because it's so quiet at speeds, I tend to fail to realize how fast it actually is going. The digital speedo also doesn't give you the feeling of how fast you are picking up speed. The old needle style give a better impression.
