435 m-sport squeaky brakes

Hi Guys

So my 435 m-sport has suddenly developed squeaky brakes. This only seems to happen in drive (not reverse) just before the car comes to a complete stop. If you keep you foot on the brake and let it roll the noise will be constant.

My car only has 7500 kms on so far.

Has anybody else experienced this ?
I am very hesitant to take it to the dealer because they will end up breaking something else.

I also have a noise from my aircon when doing around 35-40km/ph, if you play with the throttle at that speed you can hear something spinning. This is not consistent so haven't been able to replicate at will.

use a product called "copperslip", it is a gold coloured paste
apply it to the area between the brake piston head and the brake caliper

NOT ON THE PADS or DISK

I presume still in motor plan so let the dealer sort it out and only when you are 100% satisfied should you take your car from them. :coolShake:

Same thing on my 435. Intermittent, doesn't happen all the time though. Usually just after a more spirited drive when I've been using the brakes more. I just live with it. Due a brake pad service soon so will see how it is after that.

Brakes on my 330D squeak at walking pace. Do you have the optional blue caliper brakes as well?

No I have the standard m-sport brakes not the blue ones. Mine squeaks just as the car comes to a stop. Car is booked in tomorrow at SMG CT. It also started to pick up a bit of a wobbly drive.

I experienced the issue with my 335i around the same time, went to the dealer, sorted for about 2 days, then the sound came back.
I've just learn't to live with it as I don't think there is a permanent fix for this.

ive also had this on my 335i.. MP replaced brake pads, disks, calipers front and rear. Was sorted for a couple months then returned. Also just decided to live with it till the next brake change and maybe add copper paste between the brake pistons and pads.

I think I've had any 5 sets of pads in my 34k km. Just living with it now.
